In the first years, using oils and temperas, his work belongs to the «schematic painting» reflecting influences by the «Athens’ School». Around 1976-77 he adopts egg as his main material. The artistic atmosphere of that era which inspired exploration leads him to a personal style and in the years that follow he pro-poses a «realism» with evident spirituality and «metaphysical» elements.
This evolution of his personal element gradually reveals that his interest does not focus on the external «depiction», but on the internal recording.
This choice becomes more obvious in 1991 with the presentation of the series «archetypal images». Thenceforth he runs through the basic characteristics and the composing elements of this unity, that he develops and alters, each time aiming at emphasizing on a different aspect, on reaching a different artistic result.
These paths are characterized by the «now obvious» subversion of the realism’s pretexts of realism. The designing deviations and the uncommon use of colour, dynamically form an artistic work in its whole, a work which continuously evolves and transforms.
In this evolution many unities are formed, which organize and project a work spirit mainly, while simultaneously echo his deeper view on Art, as a space of multiple reading of the world, as a means of free personal interpretation.
